Located within a former industrial building in East London, this project is the home of founding EBBA architect, Benni Allan. Exploring how timber can shape everyday domestic space, the apartment pairs a restrained material palette with carefully considered interventions, creating a calm and adaptable interior.

Our work included kitchen cabinetry and integrated storage within the main living area, designed as a continuous element that helps organise the open plan space while addressing the irregular geometry of the existing structure. Crafted out of Douglas fir, simple detailing foregrounds the character of the timber, forming a warm and quiet backdrop to the apartment.
