For this home in Brixton, we were commissioned to design and make a modern dining table and bench with integrated shelving, combining clean lines with expressive joinery. The table is built around a dowel-based frame, with exposed through-pegs that celebrate the construction and bring a crafted detail to the otherwise minimal design. Finished in a painted tone, the result is a contemporary yet tactile combination that balances functionality with subtle material interest.
